Introducing Reverse Phase Flash Media & Columns

Millennial Scientific Launches All Carbon Reverse Phase Flash Media & Columns.

Features include:

• Spherical mechanically robust graphite

microbeads with 40 um diameter, optimal

size distribution, and high surface area.

• The media is 100% water compatible.

• The media is pH stable, ranging from 1-14,

and temperature stable up to 200◦C,

facilitating robust high throughput

consistent separation.

• Reduced solvent usage, reusable and

recyclable materials that promote

sustainability.

Spherical mechanically robust graphite microbeads with 40 um diameter, optimal size distribution, and high surface area. These features allow higher loading capacity, low operating pressure, and shorter processing time. They also facilitate optimal sample diffusion, enhancing flow efficiency and deterring clogging, channeling, and voiding within a packed powder media bed that occurs due to particle size inhomogeneity.

The media is 100% water compatible. These features allow users more flexibility in method development. Analytes with good water solubility (i.e., hydrophilic or polar) require a higher proportion of water, sometimes even 100% water. Conventional C18 reverse phase columns, when exposed to high extended exposure aqueous phase, exhibit poor retention of the analyte and irreproducible separation results due to a phenomenon called phase collapse. NanoPak-C does not exhibit these issues.

The media is pH stable, ranging from 1-14, and temperature stable up to 200◦C, facilitating robust high throughput consistent separation. These features allow cleaning and sanitizing of the columns with alkaline washes and repacking multiple times without performance losses.

The products promote sustainability. The higher loading capacity, without affecting recovery efficiency, decreases solvent usage. Higher column lifetime increases reuse. Finally use of recylable materials, improves sustainability.

The products, manufactured under the highest quality standards, ensure enhanced rigor and reproducibility during the sample processing of many biological, pharmaceutical, forensic, and environmental applications. These attributes deliver consistent hydrophobic interactions with a wide variety of organic compounds. Further, it is well known that all carbon graphite media retains large molecules, highly polar & closely related structured compounds at extreme pH and high temperatures. Further, these products allow direct scale-up without requiring time-consuming method redevelopment, bringing down operation and maintenance costs.
